VINICIUS JR. , the Brazilian football player and Real Madrid forward, announced on October 12th that he had been invited by Sony to create a new Spider-Man costume for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 game.

Designer Kidsuper helped Vini Jr. develop the piece of clothing that combines elements of football, Brazilian culture, and the universe of superheroes. “People are going to enjoy it, and I am already anxious to start playing with it,” said the athlete in a video on his YouTube channel.

The star has already released a preview of the look, which may still undergo changes before being launched in the game, for which no date has been set yet. Besides him, singer Rina Sawayama and Formula 1 driver Lando Norris will also debut their own suits.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was released on October 20th exclusively for Playstation 5.

Other outfits

THE ARACHKNIGHT: combines elements from another superhero’s costume, the Moon Knight. This Spider-Man version even had its own comic book in 2018 and has now arrived in the gaming world.

NEW BLUE SUIT: it is the simplest version of the traditional uniform without the webs usually drawn on the clothing. Interestingly, the first time it appeared was not in the superhero’s comics, but in a Fantastic Four story.

THE LAST HUNT: the costume with synthetic animal fur was inspired by Kraven, the villain the hero faces during the entire game. The suit’s name refers to one of SpiderMan’s classic comic book sagas released in 1992: Kraven’s Last Hunt.

CLASSIC BLACK SUIT: when Spider-Man comes into contact with a mysterious goo, his costume turns black, more resistant, and faster. However, it also becomes a bit more unpredictable. This outfit has been present in the comics since the early 1980s.
