In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, Netherlands, has teamed up with the Pokémon Company to create attractions that bring art closer to children. Since September 28th, the venue has been hosting activities and artwork aimed at Pokémon fans. This exhibition runs until January 7th.
Some of Van Gogh’s most famous paintings have been reimagined featuring Pokémon as the stars. Additionally, a treasure hunt has been organized, in which visitors must explore the exhibitions to find and overcome challenges. Morever, the museum’s official store is selling exclusive licensed products.
Tickets to visit the exhibition at the Van Gogh Museum cost 20 euros (about 110 reais). Children get in free of charge.
He was a Dutch painter, who lived between 1853 and 1890 and is deemed one of the most influential in recent times. He is one of the main figures of postimpressionism, a movement characterized by innovation and diversity, with each artist searching for their own identity.
