Nadyia, a Canadian manicurist, went viral on TikTok after posting a video. In the video, she decorates her nails with a red onion. On March 17th, four days after the post, it already had more than 27 million views.

To go through with this idea, the manicurist placed onionskin on the tip of the nail with a gel over it. Before showing the final result in the video, she used an electric device to polish the area and a nail file to shape the new “nail” the way she wanted it.

In the comments section, users of the social network had fun with the manicure idea. Some pointed out that the fingers of the trend followers would smell like onion. Others said they liked the colours and the result.
