A photo published in the beginning of May on a social network in the town of Bocholt, in Germany, went viral. The photo showed a pigeon that had been caught speeding. The image was taken by a traffic radar. It showed that the bird was flying above the speed limit. It was flying at 45 km/hr when the limit for vehicles there was 30 km/hr.

If it were a car, the dove would have to pay a fine of 25 euros (close to 112 reais) for not following traffic rules. A lot of people joined in on the fun with suggestions that the bird do community service, since it could not be fined in money.
