The town of Stoos, in Switzerland, hosted the seventh edition of the annual bathtub race on snow on January 18th.

For the race, teams get into bathtubs to slide down the mountain. The team that goes down faster, wins.

To make it more fun, racers wear costumes – and the best ones win awards. In previous editions, competitors have dressed as unicorns, ostriches, and even as warriors.

The madness does not end there: the competition started after a plumber let a bathtub slide down a hill by accident. That is where the inspiration for the race came from.
