By João M. and Pedro G.
This book tells the story of Benjamin de Oliveira, the first black clown in Brazil, and of a boy also called Benjamin who has been abandoned and now lives on the streets. One day, this boy meets a clown who tells him the story of Benjamim de Oliveira. We think this is a good book to read because it talks about racism, so that children know how bad it is to be prejudiced or to suffer prejudice. Otávio Júnior is the author. He was born in Rio de Janeiro.
