Tip from the Reader – Luca – Level 1

The film is about a boy who is a sea monster. The main character really wants to find out about life above water, but his parents do not let him go. They are afraid that he will be hunted down because he is different. Luca ends up disobeying his parents and goes above water. On the way, he meets Alberto, who is also a sea monster. They decide to look for a Vespa, a type of motorcycle.
Potential thoughts about the film: Children are curious by nature, and that is a very good thing. They are like that because they still do not know how the world works. A fun fact: a Vespa is a vehicle that really exists and was created in the early 1940s in Italy.
The film talks a lot about friendship and inclusion. I loved the story. The characters and the ending are amazing!
