Now United, the band that is known for having members from different countries, presented its 18th member on April 28th: Spaniard Alex Mandon Rey. The group had announced that it was looking for another member in December 2020. Unlike what occurred with the last members, this one was not chosen by region. So Now United spoke with young people from all around the world to find its new member.

Alex was featured in a video on the band’s YouTube channel. He is 15 years old. He is a dancer and owns a clothing brand. Because of the new coronavirus pandemic, the Spaniard has only met his band mates on video. However, they were able to get answers to all the questions they had about the new member, including who his favourite artist is – Michael Jackson – and even what his favourite food is – crepes with chocolate and hazelnut cream. Alex also said that he had been dancing since he was about three and that he had mastered several styles. His favourite one is street dance.

Even though he introduced himself in English, Alex still does not speak the language fluently. For this reason, one of the members of the group, Mexican Sabina Hidalgo, translated his answers to the rest of the group.
