The village of Nagoro, in Japan, found an unusual way to fill the city using scarecrows. There are currently 10 figures for each one of the 26 residents. They are in schools, homes, and other locations in Nagoro.

The story started when a farmer named Ayano became tired of birds eating his seeds. He decided to use a scarecrow dressed in his father’s clothes to scare them. Things got even crazier when one of his employees thought the doll was the farmer’s father. Ayano thought that was funny. He decided to continue making scarecrows and did not stop filling up the town with them.
