On June 3rd, 685 people dressed as Spider Men gathered in a shopping center in Malaysia. The event was organized by the country’s Sony Pictures Entertainment. It broke the record for the highest number of people dressed in character in the same place.

People dressed in costumes that were different versions of the famous superhero. There was Miles Morales from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse, variations of Peter Park from movie adaptations, among others. The event took place to celebrate the launch of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse, which was released in movie theaters on June 1st. The record previously belonged to a gathering in 2021, when 600 people dressed up as Spider-man in Mumbai, India.
