Lollipop, the dog, and Sashimi, the cat, both Canadian, drove a scooter over five metres in just 4.37 seconds. This was a milestone for the Guinness World Records, the book of world records. They set the record for the fastest five metres covered by a dog with a cat on a scooter. The achievement was announced on September 16th by the organization.

The pair’s owner is a professional dog trainer who started working with each animal separately. One day, while Lollipop was resting after practice, Sashimi jumped on the scooter and wanted to go for a ride. The dog got on the scooter and started to push it with her paws to ride with the cat. Since then, they have almost always ridden the scooter together.
