… the ancient Greeks believed in gods, demigods and fantastic creatures? According to their beliefs, these beings were connected to what happened in the world and could influence people’s daily lives. For example: for the harvest to be good, help was requested from Demeter, the goddess of agriculture.

… there are 12 main gods? Zeus, Hera, Aphrodite, Apollo, Aries, Artemis, Athena, Demeter, Dionysus, Hermes, Hephaestus, and Poseidon. Each one has its own trait: Zeus is the king of all gods, Aphrodite is the goddess of beauty and love, Aries is the king of war, and so on.

… the centaur (half man and half horse) is one of the fantastic creatures of Greek mythology? Other examples include: the unicorn (horse with a horn on its forehead), the minotaur (man with a bull’s head), and the cyclops (one-eyed giant).

… throughout history, Greek mythology creatures have been depicted on statues, vases, paintings, books, and films? Some of them can be found in the films Hercules (1997, Disney) and Wonder Woman (2017, DC Films).
