The United States Strategic Command controls the nation’s nuclear weapons. Many people were confused by an unusual message posted on its Twitter page on March 28th. The only thing written was “; l ;; gmlxzssaw”. This inspired conspiracy theories, and many Internet users tried to discover the organization’s supposed secret message. Some even thought it was a code to launch nuclear weapons.

The explanation, however, was a lot simpler and less worrisome than people imagined. The person who posted was the son of one of the people in charge of the organization’s social network account. He took advantage of his father’s absence from the room to play with the keyboard and ended up posting random letters.
