Germany relaxed quarantine measures during the month of May. Establishments are open to clients again. To prevent the new coronavirus from spreading, the Cafe & Konditorei Rothe in the town of Schwerin found a creative solution. Its clients have to wear hats with “spaghettis” – an item commonly used in pools for fun. Clients cannot get close to each other because of the size of the spaghetti.

Aside from the unusual measure, the cafe also reduced the number of tables by more than half.  Before, tables were placed with 0.80 metre between each other. Now, tables are not allowed to be so close to each other.
