A safe in the Vermilion Heritage Museum in Alberta, Canada, was unlocked by Stephen Mills, a tourist, in May after being locked for almost four decades. The numbers available to open the safe ranged from zero to 60, and the Stephen decided to try the combination 20-40-60. It worked on the first try.

Several specialists already tried to discover the combination before this. Because no one was able to solve it, the safe was exhibited and attracted many curious people.

After all the anticipation, the safe had no treasure inside. Inside there was only an old pay stub (the proof that a salary was paid) and restaurant receipts with purchases like a mushroom hamburger.

Sources: BBC, G1, and Galileu magazine.
