Nós de Axé features the history and culture of Bahia. The illustrations are wonderful and colorful. It is a great book to read while snuggling with family. It is also great for bedtime reading. The book is for children and adults.

The author, Janaína de Figueiredo, was born in São Sebastião on May 29, 1976. She was awarded the Jabuti Prize in 2022 for her book Formigável and Unesco’s Reading Seal of Distinction Chair 10 in 2023 for her book Seu Tainha.
