The pop group Now United announced its newest member on September 21st. Lebanese Nour Ardakani, 18, was discovered after posting singing and dancing videos online. The band now has 16 members from different countries including her.

Producer Simon Fuller signed her up for the contract. He is responsible for managing Now United and is known for other hits, such as The Spice Girls (a very popular group in the 1990s) and the talent show American Idol.

“It’s been so crazy,” said Nour on a social network post. “I’m so grateful and so excited for what’s to come,” she added. 

The singer currently lives with her family in Beirut, Lebanon. She is already getting ready for the 2021 tour (a series of concerts) while recording a new song with the group that will be released soon.

Now United

The music group founded in 2017 brings a creative concept: each member must be from a different country. The idea is to show that gathering people from different cultures usually brings positive contributions to the world.

The artists were chosen through a reality show. Today, Now United already has cartoons, a weekly video program, videos, and millions of followers on social networks (over five million on YouTube alone).

According to data from Spotify and YouTube, Brazil is the country where Now United is most popular. The person who represents Brazil in the band is 17-year-old Any Gabrielly.
