Produced between 1930 and 1969, Looney Tunes was a cartoon series that made several characters, including Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, household names. It was so successful that its episodes were replayed all over the world for decades. The cartoon is back: on May 27th, a new season updated for current times premiered in the United States. 

The new Looney Tunes is being treated as a reboot, a term used when a fictional story is retold with the adaption of some parts and small changes. All characters have been redesigned and look different but are still recognisable. 

Technology will be present in the characters’ lives as well as behind the scenes, as animators enhance scenes using computer effects that did not exist when the first season of Looney Tunes was produced. 

The novelty is part of HBO Max streaming which is not available in Brazil yet. However, the first episode can already be watched on the Warner Kids YouTube channel: bit.ly/warner-kids.
