A dog owner in Cyprus had a different idea on how his dog could continue walking on the street during the quarantine. He had a drone hold the collar and follow the dog outside. The man published a video of the walk in March, with the caption “stay home to be safe but don’t forget your dog’s happiness”.For the plan to work, the owner tied the dog collar to the drone and flew the device with a remote control. He had to guarantee that the drone was at a safe height relative to the dog. That way, the dog could move freely and still be pulled by the drone, if necessary.
