On September 18th, two pigs that escaped in a neighborhood in West Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada were found at the Mar Jok Elementary School. The police and the city’s animal control group were mobilized.
The search for the animals was closely followed by dozens of schoolchildren, who had a lot of fun with the rescue team’s attempts to capture the pigs and were cheering for the pigs. In the end, the animals were taken to Star’s Piggly Wigglys Sanctuary, where they will be cared for until their owners are located.
