The town hall in the village of Belcastro, Italy, has forbidden people from getting sick, having accidents, or leaving the house. Although it sounds extreme, the mayor explained that the measure is actually a form of protest. The goal is to draw the media’s attention to the local health authorities’ neglect of the village’s health system. The village is home to 1,200 inhabitants.
