Logan Moffit is a Canadian influencer with a lot of followers on the social network TikTok. On September 2nd, he posted videos showing different ways to eat cucumber, such as with cream cheese and salmon. The videos have already been viewed by more than 30 million users.

In Iceland, about 4,000 kilometers (km) away from Canada, the videos were so popular that they caused something unusual: a cucumber shortage all over the country. This is because many Icelanders rushed to the market to buy the vegetable. Iceland began importing cucumbers from the Netherlands because of the high demand. Moffit’s profile, which says “Join the cucumber community”, already has over six million followers.
