Holly LaFavers was shocked when she received 22 boxes of lollipops at home, in Kentucky, United States. She soon discovered that her 8-year-old son Liam had bought 70,000 units on Amazon while playing with her cell phone. The purchase, made with his mother’s credit card, cost $4,000 (close to R$20,000). According to Liam, the sweets were to be prizes for a party he wanted to organize. On May 4, Holly announced on social media that after the case became public, Amazon agreed to refund the amount. In addition, the boxes were donated to charities and residents of the city.
