Wacky Stuff: Employee Thinks Artworks Is Garbage and Discards It – Level 3

According to the note posted on October 1st by LAM Museum, an institution in the Netherlands, an employee mistook artwork on display for garbage and threw it away. According to a spokeswoman for the museum, the curators placed a few works in random places to provide an immersive experience, which is what caused the confusion. The piece, titledAll the Good Moments We Spent Together, by French artist Alexandre Lavet, consists of two dented cans painted with acrylic paint – they have both been recovered.
