The book is about a boy named Tomás who lives in a country called Chad. It has not rained in months, but one day something unexpected happens. We liked the book because it is about an African country that some Brazilians may have never heard of. In Chad, the official language is French, along with other native peoples’ languages. James Rumford and Brinque-Book teamed up and made a wonderful book. Author James Rumford has also published another very good book called Rain School.
