Ford, an American company that makes cars, has come up with the strange idea of helping electric car owners who miss the smell of gasoline. The idea was to make a perfume that smelled like gasoline. The new product was launched to promote the brand’s new car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK from July 8th to 11th. In addition to gasoline, the fragrance also smells of burnt rubber, smoke, and metal.
Electric cars do not need gasoline, so owners of these vehicles no longer need to go to gas stations. The launch tries to bring back memories of old cars through smell and, at the same time, encourage electric car use, which is more sustainable.
