The “Cau Vang” Bridge (Golden Bridge in Vietnamese) seems to be held by a god – or a giant. Located in Ba Na, in the centre of Vietnam (a Southeast Asian country), the walkway is held by two giant hands that give the impression of having come out of the mountain.

Even though it looks ancient because of the vegetation on it, the sculpture was built between 2017 and 2018 by the Vietnamese company TA Corporation. The goal was to create the image of a god taking gold out from the land to attract tourists.

Suspended at more than one kilometre above sea level, the bridge is 150 metres in length. It seems to be made of gold, but it is made from stainless steel (steel that does not rust). The hands are made from steel and glass fibre, even though they look like stone.
