A 45-year-old tortoise started a fire in its house in Great Dunmow, England. This happened after it knocked down a heat lamp on its own bed on December 25th. Heat lamps are often used to heat rooms for animals. The tortoise was alone in the house, but was removed by firefighters after neighbours heard the fire alarm and noticed the fire.

After the rescue, the animal drew attention because of its angry expression. That is why the firefighters decided to post a photo on social networks. In the caption, they wrote that the animal might appear angry, but that it had a lucky day. The fire was put out and no one was hurt.
