The book Vote Nelas is about a group of girls who decide to get on the Student Council ballot because of injustice at school. With this in mind, the girls ask their mothers for permission to join, but one of them does not allow her daughter to participate. Feeling upset, they consider joining the Council secretly. They spend the whole week making posters and debating against candidates on the Champions and the Nature and Freedom tickets.
